Christine Marie Holloway was found dead in her home last Monday, December 2nd, when police visited for a welfare check. Holloway had not shown up to work, nor did she call in sick, prompting concern.
Upon discovering her body in her Ansonia, Connecticut, home, authorities also discovered that her 1-year-old daughter, Venessa Morales was missing.
Amber Alert
An Amber Alert was issued for Vanessa Morales last Wednesday. Lt. Patrick Lynch of the Ansonia Police Department said, “We are working on the premise that she is safe somewhere.”
Investigators have spoken with family members, including the girl’s father, none of whom have seen her since the evening of Friday, November 29th.
Christine Marie Holloway died of blunt force trauma to the head. According to Lynch, investigators discovered evidence from a donation center in Hamden. They are searching for more clues in donation bins in nearby Derby as well.
Vanessa Morales
Vanessa is a one-year-old girl that is approximately 2′ 2″ tall and weighs around 17 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes. Her aunt, tearfully made a public plea asking whoever has Vanessa to “keep her safe, unharmed and get her back to us quickly.”
At this time, there is no other information regarding her mother’s death or where Vanessa could be.
